By continuing you accept that funds are sent to the address provided and cannot be reversed.

Three steps, start to finish

01

Lock your rate

Choose what you send, what you receive and the wallet it goes to. The quote is fixed the moment you create the order.

02

Make the deposit

Send the exact amount to the address we give you. Your order page updates by itself as the blockchain confirms it.

03

Get paid out

Once confirmed, your coins are on their way. The payout hash appears in your order so you can verify it on-chain.

A TXID (transaction ID), also called a transaction hash, is the unique identifier of a transaction on a blockchain. It is a long string of letters and numbers generated from the transaction's contents, and it works like a receipt number: with it, anyone can look the transaction up on a block explorer and see its status.

What a TXID looks like

  • Bitcoin: 64 hexadecimal characters, e.g. 4a5e1e4b…
  • Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum, Base, Polygon: 64 hexadecimal characters starting with 0x.
  • Tron: 64 hexadecimal characters, without 0x.
  • Solana: a longer base58 "signature", typically 87–88 characters.
  • XRP Ledger: 64 hexadecimal characters.

Where to find your TXID

In a self-custody wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Phantom, TronLink and others): open the activity or history tab, tap the transaction and look for "Transaction hash", "TXID" or "View on explorer". The link opens the explorer page, and the hash is at the top.

On an exchange: go to your withdrawal history. Once the withdrawal has been broadcast, the exchange shows a TXID or a link to the explorer. If it does not yet show one, the withdrawal has not left the exchange.

How to use a TXID on an explorer

NetworkExplorer
Bitcoinmempool.space
EthereumEtherscan
Tron (TRC20)Tronscan
BNB Smart Chain (BEP20)BscScan
SolanaSolscan, Solana Explorer
XRP LedgerXRPScan, Bithomp

Paste the TXID into the search bar. You will see whether the transaction is pending or confirmed, the number of confirmations, the amount, the sending and receiving addresses and the fee paid.

Reading the status

  • Pending / unconfirmed: the transaction is waiting to be included in a block. On Bitcoin this can take longer when the network is busy and the fee is low.
  • Confirmed / success: the transaction is final on that chain. The receiver may still wait for several confirmations before crediting it.
  • Failed: on smart-contract chains, a transaction can be included but fail (for example, out of gas). The token did not move, but the fee was still paid.
  • Not found: check you are on the right network's explorer. A Tron hash will not appear on Etherscan.

Why services ask for your TXID

If a deposit is not credited automatically — because of a missing memo, an unusual amount or a delay — the TXID lets the receiver find your payment instantly and prove it came from you. On our exchange, you can paste the TXID on your order page if your deposit has not been detected yet.

Is it safe to share a TXID?

Yes. A TXID only points to public information already on the blockchain. It cannot be used to move funds. Never confuse it with your private key or seed phrase, which must never be shared with anyone.

TXID vs address vs block

Three identifiers are easy to confuse. An address is where funds are sent and can receive many transactions. A TXID identifies one specific transaction. A block hash or block height identifies the block that contains many transactions. Support teams almost always ask for the TXID, because it is the only one that points to your payment and nothing else.

Stuck Bitcoin transactions

If a Bitcoin transaction stays unconfirmed for a long time, it usually paid too low a fee for current demand. Many wallets let you bump the fee with Replace-By-Fee (RBF), which creates a new transaction with a higher fee — and a new TXID. If you speed up a payment this way, share the new TXID with the receiver, because the old one will never confirm.

Internal transfers on exchanges

When you send crypto between two accounts on the same exchange, the exchange may settle it internally without touching the blockchain. In that case there is no on-chain TXID, only an internal reference number. If a receiver outside that exchange needs a TXID, the withdrawal must go on-chain.

Frequently asked questions

Is a TXID the same as a transaction hash?

Yes. TXID, transaction ID, transaction hash and (on Solana) signature all refer to the same identifier.

Can someone steal my crypto with my TXID?

No. It only references public data. Never share your private key or seed phrase, though.

Why can't I find my TXID on the explorer?

Most often you are using the wrong network's explorer, or the transaction has not been broadcast yet.

How many confirmations do I need?

It depends on the receiver. Each service sets its own requirement per network.
