Not every crypto trade needs a full exchange account. If all you want is to turn one coin into another, an instant swap service lets you do it in a single order: you pick the pair, give a receiving address, send your deposit and get the other coin back. No username, no password, no identity forms. This guide explains how that works in practice, what information is still involved, and the habits that keep you safe.
How a no-sign-up swap works
The model is simple. Instead of holding a balance on a platform, you create a one-off order. On LarkSwap the flow looks like this:
- Choose the pair and amount. For example BTC to ETH. The quote you see already includes the flat 0.4 % service fee.
- Enter your receiving address. This is where the coin you are buying will be sent. It must be an address on the correct network.
- Optionally add a refund address and a contact (email or Telegram). Neither is required.
- Create the order. You get an order ID, a deposit address and an exact amount to send. The rate is locked for 30 minutes.
- Send the deposit. Once it reaches enough network confirmations, the payout is sent, typically within 5 to 30 minutes.
Because there is no account, there is nothing to log into later. The order ID and its tracking page are your receipt.
What data is needed, and what is not
A swap without registration still needs a few things to work. It is useful to separate what you must provide from what you may provide:
| Item | Required? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Receiving address | Yes | The payout has to go somewhere |
| Destination tag or memo | Only for XRP or TON to an exchange | Shared exchange addresses need it to credit you |
| Refund address | No, but recommended | Where funds return if the order cannot be completed |
| Email or Telegram | No | Lets support reach you about your order |
| Name, ID document, selfie | No | Not requested |
Privacy: what a no-account swap does and does not hide
Skipping registration means you do not hand over identity documents or build a profile on the platform. That is a real reduction in the data you share. It is not invisibility, though, and it is better to be clear-eyed about it:
- Blockchains are public. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron and most other networks record every transaction openly. Anyone can see that an address sent a certain amount to another address. Swapping does not erase that history.
- Websites see normal technical data. Like any site, the service receives your IP address, browser type and similar request data when you visit. Use the same common-sense precautions you would with any online service.
- Where your coins came from matters. If you send from a regulated exchange, that exchange already knows who you are and keeps its own records of your withdrawal.
- Optional contact is optional. If you leave an email, it is linked to the order so support can reply to you. If you prefer not to, you can rely on the tracking page and the on-site chat.
Limits to keep in mind
LarkSwap orders have a minimum of roughly 20 USD equivalent and a maximum of about 1,000,000 USD equivalent per order. Below the minimum, fixed network costs eat too much of the amount to make sense. Besides the 0.4 % fee, a small payout network cost is deducted from what you receive, for example about $0.80 for ETH on Ethereum or about $0.10 for USDT on BEP20. The guide on crypto network fees explains where these costs come from.
Risks and how to protect yourself
Without an account, there is no password reset and no "undo" button. Blockchain transfers cannot be reversed, so the protection comes from preparation:
Check the address and the network twice
Copy-paste the receiving address, then compare the first and last characters. Make sure the network matches: an ETH address on Ethereum is not the same choice as USDT on Tron. If you are unsure which network your wallet uses, the comparison of BEP20 vs ERC20 is a good starting point.
Send the exact amount shown
For most coins, the deposit amount has unique decimals that identify your order. If you send from an exchange that deducts a withdrawal fee, add that fee so the exact amount arrives.
Add a refund address
If something goes wrong, such as a deposit below the minimum, funds can be returned automatically instead of waiting on a manual review.
Keep the order ID and the tracking page
The tracking page shows each stage: deposit detected, confirmed, and payout sent with the transaction hash. If your deposit does not show up, you can paste your TXID on the order page. Not sure what that is? Read what a TXID is.
Watch the 30-minute window
The rate is fixed for 30 minutes. A deposit that arrives later is reviewed by hand and is either processed at the current rate or refunded.
When a no-registration swap makes sense
It suits people who already have a self-custody wallet and want to move between coins occasionally: rebalancing from BTC into ETH, getting USDT on a cheaper network, or converting a coin before sending it to someone. If you trade many times a day with order books and charts, a full exchange account is a different tool for a different job.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to verify my identity to swap crypto on LarkSwap?
No. There is no account, no sign-up and no identity form. You only need a receiving address on the correct network. A refund address and an email or Telegram contact are optional.
Is a swap without registration anonymous?
Not completely. You do not share identity documents, but blockchain transactions are public and the website receives normal technical data such as your IP address. If you send from a regulated exchange, that exchange keeps its own records.
What happens if I lose my order ID?
Save the tracking link when you create the order. If you lose it, contact support through the on-site chat with your deposit transaction hash (TXID) and the addresses used, so the order can be located.
