About BTC and ETH
Bitcoin (BTC)
Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency, launched in 2009, and runs on its own proof-of-work blockchain. It is mostly used as a long-term store of value and for transfers that do not depend on any company. Its supply is capped at 21 million coins.
Ethereum (ETH · ERC20)
Ether is the native coin of Ethereum, the network where most smart contracts, tokens and DeFi apps live. ETH pays the gas fee for every transaction on Ethereum and on many layer-2 networks built on top of it.
ERC20 is the token standard on Ethereum mainnet. Fees are paid in ETH and can be higher than on other networks; addresses start with 0x.
Three steps from BTC to ETH
- Type how much BTC you are sending, then paste the ETH address where you want to receive.
- Transfer exactly the amount shown to your personal deposit address — on Bitcoin only.
- Once the network confirms it, your ETH goes out on ERC20 and the order page shows the transaction hash.
BTC to ETH: your questions answered
When will my ETH arrive?
Most orders finish in 5–30 minutes. The clock starts when your Bitcoin deposit has enough confirmations; the ETH payout on ERC20 follows straight after.
What is deducted from my ETH?
Two things: our 0.4% fee and the cost of sending on ERC20 (roughly 0.0003002 ETH). The amount you see before confirming already has both taken off.
How much ETH do I get for 1 BTC today?
About 31.4921 ETH, and that figure already has our 0.4% fee taken off. Prices refresh every few seconds; the moment you create an order the rate is held for 30 minutes.
Which network should I receive ETH on?
Use whichever your wallet or exchange lists for deposits (ERC20). You get the same rate on all of them — only the sending cost changes. A network mismatch can mean lost funds, so check twice.
Do I have to register to exchange BTC?
No registration and no login. Each order gets its own ID and tracking page, which is all you need to follow it.
How much BTC can I exchange in one order?
Anything from about 0.00023736 BTC to 11.868 BTC. For larger sums, simply split them across several orders.
How can I follow my BTC to ETH order?
Every order has an ID and its own status page: deposit detected, confirmed, ETH sent with its transaction hash. If the order cannot be completed, the funds go back to the refund address you gave.
